W. Brett McKenzie, BS, EdM, EdD, CAGS.
Professor, School of Humanities Arts and Education,
Roger Williams University

I have been teaching at Roger Williams for twenty years, and across many schools. I have taught education classes when the education depart was a school; I taught for Gabelli School of Business - in both management and computing; I have taught in the Core program, before it became its own school or division, and most recently, and currently I am teaching in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Education.

I see this variety of faculty appointments and teaching assingnments as reflecting the artificial boundaries that we have for disciplinary knowledge. True knowledge permeates - it crosses the science and humanities divide, it crosses the culture and entertainment divide, it crosses the quantitative and qualitative divides.
