This course introduces the fundamental of funding for not-for-profit organization with an emphasis on event fundraising as well as the requirements and procedures for reporting funds raised as well as documenting program and operating expenses. While focused on arts organizations, it approaches the scope of US not-for-profit organizations looking more towards a staff or board perspective rather than the professional perspectives of a fundraiser or accountant.
